Solid|Create|Lines from Solids
This function creates lines from Solids, you either take the underlaying areas of objects, the Overlaying or All the lines. This works great for easy shapes such as 3D rectangles or similar.
To extract lines from cylindrical objekts you can do that from the IFC import > mesh > settings. There you can pick the centre or the bottom line for example which is very useful for extracting set out data from hole plans or similar.
