GIF10 has 3 switches under a shelf at the lower edge of the box. Set these to:

  • Switch 1= Off (Up)
  • Switch 2= Off (Up)
  • Switch 3= On (Down)

Standard settings for Leica GRE 3 and GRE4 to be found in Leica  using   [SET] [MODE] 78 are:

Baud rate 2400 baud

Data bits 7

Stop bits 1

Parity equal (2)

Handshake RTS + DTR (ACK/NACK)
