How to read help and manual

Topocad's online help and manual are essentially the same content, with the manual created from the online help.

Both consist of a table of contents based on Topocad's menus.

The online help has links from Topocad to the correct place in the help. Additionally, there are a large number of links between different chapters and within chapters. These are marked with blue text.

The text that looks like this in blue to the right here:

Drawing | Import

points to the place in the program where the function is located. In the above case, the information would have been found under the Drawing menu and the function itself explained in the section is called Import. In some cases, the command points to a function that only exists in the current document type, for example in Point Cloud, Measurement Data, etc. In these cases, we refer to which document type this applies to.
